The history of the Grand Prince duplex
The Grand Prince duplex was created by converting the attic of an 18th century building.
The discovery of the period framework fashioned by companions was a real revelation. The idea was to combine modernity and authenticity to make this place of life, a space of unique character keeping the marks of history.
Luxury in real estate is light and the development of attics is a great privilege to respond to it. I therefore opted for a Grand Large glass roof and the largest roof frames on the rear side of the roof. On the facade, I created 4 large skylights to gain more light and space, which is very precious for apartments in Paris.
The centerpiece of a duplex apartment is its staircase. He had to impose himself in the entrance hall. So I designed it to measure and had it made by an artistic ironworker. Not a person enters the apartment today without noticing and admiring this piece of art...
All the materials have been chosen to respect the noble historical materials of the apartment; old floor tiles, oak parquet.
The icing on the cake, the Grand large canopy gives access to a small terrace to enjoy your coffee in the morning or a drink on summer evenings...
